Door-glass.co.uk is part of Clayton Glass Ltd, a large scale independent manufacturer of insulating glass units. We’ve been trading for over 50 years, and in that time have grown to become the biggest IG manufacturer in the North East, making in excess of half a million sealed units each year.

In the past few years we’ve diversified into a number of specialist areas, firstly with our hugely popular conservatory roof brand SMARTGLASS™ and more recently with the launch of EnergiMAX™, our flagship energy-efficient range. Success has been such that both of these products are now manufactured in a brand new site, with a joint turnover of in excess of £2M.

Over this time we’ve seen the demand for composite door glass grow and grow, particularly on the decorative side. With many years experience to draw on in the manufacture of beveled, coloured and leaded units, a new specialist area in the composite door market has been a natural progression for us.

In the last 18 months we’ve invested, developed and recruited for the launch of Door-glass.co.uk. Our factory now boasts the largest decorate department in the UK, and in this relatively short time we have grown to be the number one supplier of glazing products to the composite door industry.
