Safety
All toughened glass used in our sealed units is made in-house by one of our two toughening plants, so we know where it came from. We carry out fragmentation testing every half hour, and everything we make is manufactured and stringently tested to BS EN 12150, the European standard for thermally toughened glass.
Longevity
Clayton Glass has been around for over 50 years and supplies over half a million sealed units annually. Everything we do and every material we use is geared to ensure our sealed units out-last the competition. All of our sealed units are manufactured, tested and Kitemarked to BS EN 1279, guarding against premature failure and moisture ingress. Where argon gas is specified this too is Kitemarked to 1279 part 3.
Integrity
To assist in and safeguard our operational performance we operate to an ISO 9000 quality management system, together with a rigorous audit programme. We only ever use genuine Pilkington pattern glasses, we are member of the Glass and Glazing Federation, and as if any more peace of mind was necessary, every sealed unit we make is guaranteed for 10 years.
